Terms and Conditions

Effective January 1, 2026

Baldwin Park Insulation and Spray Foam, baldwinparkinsulation.com, service@baldwinparkinsulation.com

Agreeing to these terms

These terms cover your use of this website and any work you book with Baldwin Park Insulation and Spray Foam, an insulation contractor in Baldwin Park, CA. By using the site, asking for an estimate or scheduling a job, you agree to them, so please read them before you go further.

If a signed estimate or contract for your job says something different from this page, the signed document wins for that job. If you don't agree with these terms, please don't use the site or book work through it.

What we do

We install, top up and remove insulation in homes and commercial buildings, and we do the related work that makes it perform, like air sealing, which means closing the gaps before the insulation goes in, and vapor barriers in crawl spaces. You can read about each service from our home page and learn more about our crew on the About page.

What the site says about a service is general information. The scope of your job is whatever your written estimate or contract describes, because no two attics or crawl spaces are the same.

Estimates and pricing

Estimates are free and done at your property, and asking for one doesn't commit you to anything. An estimate is based on what we can see and measure that day, such as the size of the space, how much insulation is already up there and its condition, and the material you choose.

Some things only show up once the work starts, like old insulation that's wet or full of droppings, or damage hidden under it. When that happens, we stop and explain what we found and what it changes, and we don't do added work at added cost until you approve it in writing.

An estimate is good for the period written on it. After that, material and labor prices can change, so we may need to update it before scheduling.

Scheduling, access and cancellation

We'll set a start date with you and do our best to keep it, though weather, material delays or an earlier job running long can move things. If that happens, we'll tell you as soon as we know and offer the next open date.

On the day of the job, we need clear access to the work area, like the attic hatch, the garage or the crawl space entry, and a way into the house. If we can't get in or the area isn't ready, we may have to reschedule.

For spray foam jobs, you, your family and your pets need to stay out of the house for the time we give you before the job and come back only when we say it's okay, because that wait is part of doing the job safely.

If you need to cancel or move your appointment, please call us at (626) 869-2237 as early as you can. Your written contract will spell out any cancellation rights you have under California law and any charges for material already ordered for your job.

Payment

Your estimate or contract states how much is due, when it's due and which payment methods we accept. Unless your contract says otherwise, the balance is due when the work is finished.

If a payment is late, we may pause any remaining work until it's settled, and you agree to pay reasonable costs of collecting an unpaid balance where California law allows it.

Our workmanship and what we don't warranty

We're licensed and fully insured, and we stand behind our work. If something we installed isn't right, call us and we'll come back and look at it.

Insulation and foam carry the maker's own warranty, and we follow the maker's instructions when we install them. We pass those warranties on to you as the maker offers them, but we don't add to them.

We don't promise a specific drop in your power bill or a specific temperature in any room, because those depend on things outside our work, like your windows, your HVAC system and how you use the house.

Our warranty doesn't cover damage from roof leaks, plumbing leaks, pests, other trades working in the space after us, or changes made to our work by anyone else. Apart from what's written in your contract, the website and our services are provided as they are, without other warranties, to the extent California law allows.

Limits on our liability

To the extent the law allows, Baldwin Park Insulation and Spray Foam isn't responsible for indirect or follow-on losses, such as lost income or the cost of staying elsewhere, and our total responsibility for any job is limited to what you paid us for that job.

Nothing on this page limits any right you have that California law says can't be waived, and it doesn't limit our responsibility for harm we cause through our own carelessness.

Using this website

The words and photos on this site belong to Baldwin Park Insulation and Spray Foam, and you can't copy them for business use without our written permission. We keep the site up to date as best we can, but the information is general and can change, so check details for your own job with us before relying on them.

If we disagree

If you're unhappy with anything we've done, call us first, because most problems get sorted out quickly once we're back at the house and can see them. If we still can't agree, we're both willing to try mediation before going to court.

Any court case about these terms or our work will be heard in Los Angeles County, California, unless the law requires a different place. Small claims court stays open to either of us for disputes that qualify.

California law applies

These terms and any work we do for you are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to rules that would point to another state's law.

Changes to these terms

We may update this page from time to time, and the version posted here is the one that applies. Changes don't affect a contract you've already signed unless we both agree to them in writing.
