About our Baldwin Park insulation contractor crew

Spray foam insulation coats the rafters and roof of an unfinished attic with exposed wooden beams and two skylights.

How I got into insulation

I learned this trade from my father, mostly by holding the flashlight in attics until he trusted me with the hose. I started this business in Baldwin Park in 2013, and I still come out to look at most jobs myself. The calls are about the same as they were then: a bedroom that's hot upstairs, a drafty room over the garage, cold floors over the crawl space or a power bill that keeps climbing. Property managers call too, when a building needs more than a patch.

What I care about most is order. Insulation laid over a leak, a wet spot or bad wiring only hides the problem, and somebody pays for it later. I'd rather tell you now than be the one who covered it up. That's how we handle every insulation job in Baldwin Park and the cities around it. If something in your house doesn't feel right, send us a note and I'll come take a look.

What it's like to work with us

  • You deal with me the whole way

I come out to look at the job myself, our own crew does the work, and I'm the one who checks it at the end. Nothing gets lost between what we talked about at the estimate and what happens in your attic.

  • We'll tell you when you don't need us

Some jobs are small enough to handle yourself, and some can wait. If yours is one of those, we'll say so straight instead of selling you something bigger.

  • One call covers the whole building

We insulate attics, walls and crawl spaces, and we do commercial insulation for property managers too. You won't need a second contractor for the crawl space under the room you called about.

  • We sort out the permit

When a job needs a permit, we pull it and set up the inspections, after checking which office covers your address, because around here it isn't the city every time. The state requires a contractor license on any job that needs a permit, uses a crew or runs $1,000 or more, and we're licensed and fully insured.

What you'll notice on the job

  1. Look first

I come out and look in the attic, walls or crawl space before we price anything, and I note how many inches are already up there.

  2. Fix what's underneath

If the old insulation is soaked or full of droppings, or there's a leak or bad wiring, we show you before anything new goes over it.

  3. Seal, then fill

We close the gaps around can lights, pipes and the attic hatch first, which is air sealing, so the new insulation isn't fighting a draft.

  4. Even to edges

We keep the eave vents clear so the attic can breathe, and we carry the full depth out to the edges instead of piling it in the middle.

  5. Final check

When our crew finishes, I check the work myself and walk you through what we did, so you know what's up there.
